  1. 35" Toyo Open Country R/T Pro Tires 35s installed on stock wheels & factory suspension

Props to Toyo for finally giving us both the RT Trail and RT Pro in a C rated version in a true 35x12.50. That wasn't the case when they both were first released! Undoubtedly will choose one of the 2 when I get new tires this summer. I have a set of the RT Trails on my F150 and they have been...
  2. 2025 Mojave X - 35's & 17's

KMC Lobos come in a 17x8.5 in +18 that are close to flush. https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/kmc-lobos.76011/ I still like good ol fashioned C rated BFG KO2s for a decent true all arounder. Not great at anything but not terrible at anything (till you get to the end of tread...
  3. Tires C load to E load ride quality

I've gone from C to D and C to E and both times it was immediately noticeable how much rougher they rode off-road. There are many good C rated choices in a 285/70. Unfortunately, not so much in 315/70 or 35x12.50. So, so, so many rigs on 35s should be on C rated tires yet tire manufacturers...
  4. Toyo open country RT pro?

Cool looking tire but all E and F rated sidewalls so no thanks.
  5. Load range C vs load range E

I went from C to E once (not by choice) and C to D once. Not doing either of those again. It definitely rode rougher in my case. It was especially noticeable off road and even aired down. The issue is that there are very limited C rated options in 315/70/17 and even less that are...
  6. Biggest Ply Tire For Gladiators?

I replaced the C rated KO2s on my Raptor with D rated Mickey T Baja EXPs and immediately could tell the difference. Even aired down into the mid teens the Mickeys rode rougher. I've stuck with C rated tires ever since. I just wish the were more C rated options in 35x12.5 and 315/70. Lots of...
  7. HELP - Connecting off road lights to aux switch w/o provided harness

I installed a set of KC lights last month on my Mojave and connected the power wire to the Aux 3 wire and the ground to a ground. That's all you need To do. Aux switches are fused so you're good to go.
  8. What is the least time you got out of your batteries?

Batteries are a crap shoot. I've had O.E. Batteries die in under a year and I've had them go 6 years. No rhyme or reason for either on my end.
  9. 2022 Gladiator Mojave Travel Trailer towing

I have a 22 Mojave and occasionally pull a 21ft TT that weighs probably around 5,500 lbs loaded up for a trip. It does really well doing so with one exception: hills/mountains. I live in AZ and it really struggles on long and/or steep inclines. If I lived in the Midwest or someplace flat like...
  10. Let's have a conversation about inflation...

I don’t know anything about that chart but there ain’t a Glady on the road that should be driving around with 50 psi in the tires.
  11. Mojave Offroad Capabilities on the Mountain

I have a Mojave and have hunted all over AZ from Yuma to the Kaibab to Alpine. Only time I had to turn around was when I got to a mudhole that someone warned me the the ruts at the bottom of it were made by a 1-ton with 44s. You won’t find much if anything in the legit act of hunting that a...
  12. Another PSI question

That's about where I run my 315/70 BFG KO2s for daily driving. Anything more than that wears the middle of the tread out.
  13. KMC Lobos

After a year of running 315/70 BFG ATs on stock Mojave wheels I finally got around to getting new wheels. I wanted something light, hub-centric, and didn't want them sticking out a foot past the fenders. I stumbled onto the KMC Lobos (17 x 8.5, +18). These checked all the boxes so with some...
  14. 5.7 showing as an option on E-Shop on jeep.com, Just a bad web design mistake???

I’d buy one in 5 seconds. Love my Mojave but it sucks at pulling my 4,500 trailer in the mountains. My 2019 5.7 Ram is awesome at it. Every time I drive either one all I can think about is if the 5.7 was in the Mojave I’d only need 1 truck.
  15. EZ Flate… anyone bought and using?

I bought the SpeedFlate system this winter and think it kicks ass. Airing up and down goes so much faster doing it all 4 tires at a time (Especially at home with a real compressor).
  16. Mickey Thompson Baja Legend EXP

I had a set of these on my Raptor for a few thousand miles before I traded it in. They were shockingly smooth and quiet on the road and ate mud really well. Never got to try them in the snow or on icy roads. My only complaint was that the 315/70/17 was D rated and they rode stiff off road...
  17. Falken 33" Wildpeaks to BFG 35" KO2

I have 315/70 KO2s on my stock Mojave. Fit and ride great. I go with the C rated for the smoother ride.
  18. Tire Pressure

I have 315/70s on stock Mojave wheels and was running them at 25. About a month ago I went down to 20 to do some light wheeling and haven’t aired them backup yet. I might not. It rides great on and off road and looks to be wearing perfectly. I have been meaning to chalk them and check them...
  19. After 35s is reprogramming necessary to transmission shifting

I wasn’t planning on recalibrating when I went to 35s on my Mojave but the transmission just seemed way off with them. I live in a really hilly/mountainous area so that might have made it worse. Did the Tazer and all seems normal again. Glad I got it anyway cause I got to fix about 5 other...
  20. Spare of a different size? Big deal or nah?

I put 315/70/17 BFGs on my stock Mojave wheels then I bought a used 315/70/17 BFG mounted for $75. Date code puts it at 5 years old and it only has about 5/32s but it'll work in a pinch. I sold my stock tires with the brand new 33 inch spare that came on the truck so it's hard to say but I bet...
