Interesting!
i hope i dont have any issues.... really just looking to rid of the EGR so my jeep can live longer lol
what all goes into the tasks you mention, reset the taps and reloading the tune? i need to know what im in for if im in a remote area camping with little to no service
Howdy! Just getting to this post, I just purchased the EOC stage 1 with trans tune, curious if any of you guys have updates on reliability, problems etc.? Would appreciate the input!
If you could.... try and obtain from the dealer what all they pulled to correct this issue that would be fantastic knowledge to have, one of the guys on here said they could pull the exhaust from the vehicle, ill be checking that this weekend!
This is exactly what im talking about........... when the dealership cant figure it out the blame anything on a tire or a control arm HAHAHA, not funny though....
most likely this kinds of issue would cause that, there my particular wire that was grounding happened to be my transmission...
Yes it does have the same route…… I can almost guarantee you this is the issue, that com wire harness plugs direct into the trans, I would follow it and try and view it the best as possible, you will actually have more room to view as opposed to the diesel owners!
So I thought that as well, the dealership “cleaned” it and did t put it back properly, however when I disassembled it it’s actually a jacket that protects the back of the wires it’s not the actual plug that’s not seated I fixed it when I put in the RTV on the harness,
Dude…… I haven’t taken a peak yet, but you may be a god send lol
Did you perform the work or someone else?
Also how did you find out about this issue for you to make this repair?
Interesting!!!! This is actually th product I purchased to go around the new harness!
are you talking about the whole exhaust?? Cause just the DPF…… never the less I’m going to trace this out!
I mean....... i didnt think i had issues, until i was on a slight incline trying to reverse while offroad and the jeep didnt move... i was afraid i was going to blow up the trans lol
im not certain, my only guess would be AEV assumes you will utilize your vehicle strictly overlanding, in other words (Overloaded/Heavy) 4.56 would be perfect for a one point mindset of offorad/overland, just not so great on the freeway, my goal was to put it closer to stock and maybe bump the...
Hello!
no its not the coil spring (kinda looks like it through!) If i remember correctly that's the EGR Pipe, if you actually lift up the wheel well liner towards the cab of the vehicle, you should see 2 wiring harness plugs the larger one (TOP) is the wiring you will need to follow its...
Hello everyone, i hope you are doing well... i wanted to share with you an experience that many of you at some point WILL run into, i have 3 ecodiesel friends that i hvae informed of the issue, all stated they saw. i will TRY and not make this a complaining session about the dealership...
