I have the Mopar 2 inch lift and I added the Synergy adjustable rear CAs upper and lower. I took most of the angle out by lifting the front of the pinion.Adjusted the uppers a hair longer.
I have more power and better MPG now,,,LOL.
For those wanting to upgrade your steering it looks like Fusion 4x4 has a new product. I have no connection to them but i did have their product on my '14 JKUR and it's great. Their websuite has all the info. I am looking to get the system with the Fox SS. I don't really have a problem with my...
I removed the 60% side of the rear seat and put some carpet down on the floor. Now my 120 pound Bernese has plenty of room to sleep even on long trips. The 40% side is still there for a 3rd person.
In 2003 I bought a diesel Ram 2500 with the 5.9,,,, well the 3.0 turbo diesel has the same HP...
So in 2030 I'll buy my last new car that's not an EV. Not going to worry about it. I just hope I am still around. At the rate things are going there won't be much 4x4 trails by then. A nice hotel at the beach will work for me.
On the ARB suite it says that a spacer has to be used so the rear sway bar doesn't contact the diff cover. . Who would know? Called ARB but they have no info. No measurements.
Going to be installing ARB diff covers soon. Will be using Torco 85-140 non syn rated GL-6. A very high quality oil. I am wondering if the diff covers come with re usable gaskets from the factory?
You want to buy an EV anything, go for it. But as for me, I will give up my gas/diesel powered vehicle when they pry my cold dead hands from the steering wheel.
Remove all the tax brakes from EV's and let the free market decide what happens to them.
With a 2 inch lift you will still need track bars front and rear. You will need wheels with 0 off set or spacers. Do it right one time, the first time.
I went with the Synergy track bars front and rear. Very solid and easy to adjust. Now I have the Synergy control arms for the rear upper and lower to adjust the rear pinion angle. It's not really needed for a 2 inch lift.
My 0 offset Methods and 315-70-17 BFGs are nothing compared to the much larger 37s+ with much neg offset wheels. I hear what you're saying about it. It's bugger than stock and the scrub has been really changed but not much more than the factory wheels with spacers to clear larger tires. Glad I...
I try to avoid mods that I will possibly regret. I bought some rear lower CAs to correct the rear pinion angle after my 2 inch lift. Really didn't need to do that. But the rear lower CAs won't adjust shorter to do that so now I have to do the uppers.
I am constantly teasing myself with 37s...
What I have is NOT a DW condition. It's a slight and brief movement of the steering wheel after hitting a irregular bump on the freeway at freeway speed. I know what DW is and this isn't it. My JT has 6K miles so I hope things are not worn out yet. My tires and wheels are nothing out of the...
