Here's a good example of how the Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions does for me.
This morning I went down a dusty gravel road and ended up behind a dump truck.
When I got home the JT was covered in granite dust.
The tires looked more gray than black.

A little while ago I hosed it off and drove it dry.
Here's what it looks like now.
No soap. No sponge. House water pressure.

I use Mothers Scratch remover and Carnuba wax. It gets most of the light stuff out but you can still tell it has been wheelin. Once the initial sick feeling goes away you end up NGAF. I bought mine to go places that the night sky is 2 or less. (Bortle scale) Getting there inevitably leads me through branches and bushes, rocks, creeks etc. For that purpose it serves me well here in the PNW. The shiny black paint??? More like striped black paint these days. Enjoy your toy.

so does that stuff go on like a paste of the old days or is it a liquid solution that you spray/widpe on and rinse off? That mcguiers stuff I used last year seemed to work ok but didn't necessarily last long - and after this winter I have to pretty much start all over again.

It's a liquid spray. Goes on easy and buffs out super easy.
Smells great too. My wife loves how it makes the garage smell.

Did the Subabru last week.
Chemical Guys Leather Cleaner and their leather conditioner on the inside.
Note the orange stitching. I guess they and Jeep found the same supplier.

Mine is whit that shows brush scratches the least. Yo prevent them it's wax, wax, and more wax. Especially before a trip.
