Thanks for all the input guys. I'm thinking I'll get the 2" Mopar lift and do it myself. I honestly trust my work more than some tech at the dealership that could or could not be having a bad day. I also pride myself on built not bought. I enjoy the work.
I was just hoping it wouldn't impact...
Thank you guys. I would figure if it were a Rubicon option or even extra options it would have shown in the build sheet. I'm pretty sure the one next to it had the Mopar lift.
Now to find out if the Mopar lift voids the warranty. I figure they'll want to install it though in order to keep a...
When discussing adding the 2" Mopar lift on the Jeep, everyone tells me Rubicons already come with a 2" lift. When I bought the truck, the Jeep next to it definitely had a lift and was on 35" MT's. While I would have rather had that setup, I did not want a black truck and neither did the wife...
I canceled my full order after finding out the front ones fit better on the back of the JT. But for some reason these say they fit the JK only. Are the fronts the same for the JK and JT? Do I get a discount ordering 4 separate parts if they're not in a package? Will these fit a 2023 Gladiator...
The thing that I noticed is the top of the graphic does not line up with the fender line like all the other pocket graphics I've seen for that slot. I have a little OCD so I noticed, most probably will not. Thanks for the compliments.
After my failed attempt at window tint, again... I don't know why I think I can do window tint. Something always gets me. This time it was a short hair like a dog hair and a spec of dust. So yesterday I took her down for window tint with someone far better than myself, lol.
With the steps here...
The heaviest I do not have yet and that would be a medium size travel trailer that fits maybe 5 people. Probably try and stay around 5k lbs. Most of the time it will probably be a small wooden trailer with a couple quads in it. That I'm not so worried about.
I'm hoping to keep the suspension under warranty by going with the Mopar 2" lift. But I may find myself buying a camper in a couple years and wondering if you can even use the Max Tow shocks with the 2" Mopar lift? Will the Fox shocks handle a trailer very well? Are these even an option? It...
Do you have locking diffs? Were they on? I noticed with locking diffs on the other say at full lock I was getting grabbing. Which I assumed because I had locking diffs on.
I don't think you should be hearing clunking in the rear-end though. I was a mechanic 20 years ago. But I'm new to the...
After looking extensively over the last week. Vinton County looks like there are several trails to the public. Anyone in here a member of MOJO (Mid-Ohio Jeepers Organication)? Or, something like that. I'm thinking about joining them. Looks like they have several meets every year.
So I had the idea to run the Jeep up the backstop of my gun range. I wanted to see how the sway bar disconnect and the off-road features all worked. I'm impressed again by Jeep. The Commander was a beast in the snow with that Hemi. The Cherokee Trail Hawk we had was amazing in winter, but we...
Just a few details to make it our own. Vinyl bed side graphic, tailgate tail light Gladiator graphic, stationary back window cover. Wheels/tires and rock slider/side steps are showing up next week. Also have the front fender pocket American flag graphic, rain guards, and trying to order the...
So where's the best place to off-road for newbies in Ohio? We've had 3 other Jeeps, but none on the Wrangler platform. We had a Command which we loved with that Hemi in it. Then last we had a Cherokee Trail Hawk. But, we never really took them off-road. Just blasting through the snow.
So I'm...
My plan is to switch to full synthetic between 1k and 2k. I'm hoping to hit that before vacation or it may be earlier.
EDIT: After that I always change around 5k and rotate tires at the same time.
