They're not mud tires but they are as good as if not better than KO2s. I've got about 15k miles on them now, and its barely noticeable. I do have 5 and I do a 5 tire rotation at every oil change. I'd expect to get another 30-40k out of them. They are wearing like a standard AT tire. To me the...
Maybe mine was different but it made a lot of noise without a lot of movement. I have a 996 911 as a fun car so its all relative. I'm not a drag racing guy, but i wouldn't choose a yukon or a gladiator to pull out into traffic if a tractor trailer was coming. But I'd take the gladiator of the two.,
I live in coastal South Carolina so mostly sand and mud around here and they have been great. I do go up to the mountains about every other month to mountain bike where I camp off the beaten path and they were much better in the rocky clay. They're also super quite and I'll buy them again.
Some of y'all must have been riving rocket ships before your Gladiator. I had went from a 2016 Yukon Denali with the 6.2L to a stock Rubicon and I felt like the 3.6 had a noticeable increase in pep. I've had several other Jeeps but compared to my TJ from college, this thing feels incredible.
I...
Not trying to be a D*@K, but (proceeds to be a D*@K) I don't understand the point of doing that to a gladiator. A Ram, F150, or Silverado will all be a much more comfortable ride for about the same amount of money and will give you the look your going for at a lower price than a gladiator. I'm...
New bumper and winch on. I didn’t put the ends on. I thought I wouldn’t like the stubby look but turns out I do.
the bumper is way more high quality finish than I was expecting from reading on here
You can build it out, exactly like you want it for less money than what you would lose trading it in for a Mojave. Plus, after you get a Mojave it's only a matter of time before you start modifying that too.
I just put my soft top back on the jeep. Even when i had the hard top on, if it was 68 or above on the drive home from work I took off the freedom panels. As long as the forecast looks clear I'll do a no door Friday to work and really most weekend days I just leave the doors off unless it looks...
So I only have about 800 miles on the tires so far but man, they're great. Super quite and at 38 psi they make the ride smoother than I thought was possible for d rated tires. Big plus that with the AEV Salta wheels these 37's fit in the stock spare location.
Also, I haven't really noticed a...
Ignore Betty running into my picture. Lift went off without a hitch. I think it looks great. So far I can’t notice any difference other than it feels a little more sluggish. Ride quality is 10/10 compared to how it was though
got the wheels mounted on the 37s and I love it. Surprisingly quiet and way smoother than the bald at3s. I’m putting the lift on tomorrow so that should be fairly straight forward.
I bit the bullet and ordered the Fauxpar steel winch bumper with an open road 13k winch and factor 55 flatline...
Finally did it. I ordered 5 AEV Saltas with the AEV 2" spacer lift last night from Northridge 4x4. As soon as the wheels arrive I'll be dropping them of at Gerald's Tires for some Patagonia xt 37x12.50R17s.
I went back and forth for the last few months reading on here and looking at youtube...
I have literally never parked a vehicle in a garage. I've always used a garage for storage, shop, gym. We have a 24x37 garage now and it will never see a vehicle.
I feel like you might be the guy that doesn't actually like anything but just dislikes some things less than others. What part of the Northeast are you from?
