The Clayton 2.5 is definitely stiff. Just pair it with a bit softer than stock set of shocks. I put on Fox 2.5" and it rides just fine for my liking. Falcon adjustable would work as well if budget permits. You might want to consider putting a 1" Teraflex spacer in the front until you load it up...
I have the JL400 and I quite like it. Easy to install and out of the way. Looks as if it were a OEM installed option. Only down fall is the controller mounts over the battery so you have to make sure there is slack in the wiring to get it out of the way for a battery change.
I personally would go with the Clayton Short arms. They are beefy and adjust really nice. They will even go shorter than stock if needed (not sure why you would want to). Best part with Clayton is you can buy a set at a time and eventually it becomes a kit or you can mix and match. it is up to...
Here is mine with the 2.5" Overland Plus. I have the 315 (fake 35s). There is also a 1" Teraflex spacer in the front. I am not a fan of rake and I like the slight rake that is left. I took the picture in my shop so you can see the level lines on the wall for comparison.
This is from the FAQ section of my Tazer account. I actually bought mine from the dealer I bought the Gladiator from as they said I needed it to calibrate the speedo. Don't overthink it to much!!
Does a Tazer void my warranty?
No! The Tazer makes no permanent changes to your vehicle and does...
ARCUS. It was an easy install formed to the Jeep perfectly. Winch sits nicely tucked in and low. I also liked the fact that the OEM skid plate can be re-used. Most others you have to buy theirs. Also you re-use the factory fog lights.
Pretty informative thread. I run the Tazer Mini and the one thing I cant seem to find any info on is the "SGW Lock" function. Not sure what the benefit is or what it accomplishes by locking it other than not allowing a connection via the ODB port?? This is all I can find and it is out of the...
This is with a 17x8.5 rim ET34 which equals a 6" Back Space, which is what the Rubicon comes stock (17x7.5 ET44.5). Mounted with Toyo OC/MT 315/70R17. They measure 34.4" high and 12.8" wide (Actual) and only the side wall pokes out. One note here is that I have a 1.5" TeraFlex spacer in the...
I can send pictures of my set up tomorrow. I went with the same BS but went to a 315 tire from the stock 33". I have a Rubicon but the Mojave is the same axel and fender. I went with a 17x8.5 rim and a 34 offset which is equal to 6" BS from factory.
YES, you want a 71.5mm hub. Otherwise with lug centric it is not easy to get the wheel centered when mounting on the vehicle. Also I would concentrate more on Back Space than offsets. It only really makes sense using offsets when you are comparing the same width rim. Mojave uses about a 5.57"...
KMC XD129 Holeshot. 17 x 8.5 ET34 which is 6" BS. Toyo OC/MT 315's which measure 34.5" tall. The BS matches the factory rims so all the width went outwards with the clearance inside basically the same. It only pokes the shoulder of the tire leaving the tread under the wheel well. There is a...
