I'm sure there's more than this place out there, but it was one of the first to pop up in a rudimentary search.
Might something like this suit your needs?

I had one on the Tacoma I had before the Gladiator and loved it.
I adjusted the rear latch rods to engage the bottom of the cargo track rack when fully closed. I could engage the rods inside the track and that would allow the rear panel to be open by an inch or so. Still secure, but would...
Can't tell for sure in the pics, but it looks like you rigged whats called the "death triangle". Here's a webpage that describes what that is and shows examples of the proper way. Way more math on the webpage than I care to get into. lol
That was hammered into us in a high angle rope rescue...
My wife has used the skottle with a carpeted board on top. When we're on the road, she'll either use a smaller piece of plywood I cut or a pillow on her lap. As I was typing this, I recall that someone makes a padded "lap desk"
I thought your question was in regard to while moving down the...
This conversation reminds me of a couple of years ago I was driving home from work and was passed by a Jeep JKU that was all decked out with overlandy stuff all over it; and no spare tire. I made a ridiculing comment on an overland forum and 70% of the comments were criticizing me for my...
All the banter about "why" brings to mind one of the prevailing mods 20 years ago when I rebuilt my CJ; twin sticked transfer case. With it one can engage the front or rear axle independently in either hi, low or neutral. 2 low is nice when a lower ratio is wanted but more traction is not the...
No one has mentioned this yet, perhaps it's presumed to be common knowledge; Anderson connectors come in different sizes/ ratings for voltage/ amps. Make sure you get the appropriate size. They are also color coded. I have three different colors on my home-made camping battery box: a gozinta, a...
It was actually yesterday, not today. Got the Gladiator a playmate.
'88 Comanche with just a few mods. Surprisingly very little rust. I do need to do a few things for it to pass WV state inspection.
Nice!
Back when I had a Diamondback cover, I called them and suggested that concept, but they didn’t seem that interested.
Happy someone is offering that kind of simple option.
Park the truck out in the desert for about a week. I'm sure somebody will come along and ventilate it for you.... along with the rest of the truck.
I had the thought several years ago of an incorporated tent canvas enclosure to close in the rear panel when up and the tailgate. I did call them and suggested (requested?) they look into it, but obviously they didn't see the marketing need.
I had a Diamondback on my Tacoma; loved it. I felt that items were way more secure locked in the bed than in the cab and they're rated for loads. I have a topper camper on the Gladiator but I wouldn't hesitate to get another Diamondback.
I'm thinking of one of the other threads on this forum regarding a tailgate storage kit. I wonder if an ARB compressor could be squirreled away in that space.... Also wonder about the longevity of the wiring doing crunchies every time the tailgate is opened and closed.
