Looking to redo my steering components and liked the yeti xd pro drag link, track bar, and steersmart sector shaft brace, but when it comes to the tie rod they all are aluminum. Isn't that counter productive as its going to take a ton of abuse and it should be heavy thick steel?

I do like Clayton but it will ride stiff unless you have some weight in the bed. Really cannot go wrong with any of the main brands. The only one I'd add is rock krawler they do things slightly different in their rear. I have it matched with Clayton spings

I went with 5.13 also and on a recent trip that was 600 miles away i got 320 miles to a tank (granted it was a ton mtn freeway driving at 70-75). I accept it didn't build this for the freeway. Offroad its fantastic I dont miss the original tires, I only miss losing the bed as the 38 won't fit...

I should have mentioned freeway speeds here are 75 and most side streets are 50

I did for a few weeks while I waited on my gears to come in. It was not fun on the freeway as it never got out of 7th. Even quick trips around town it was always shifting up and down.

I have the 3" adventure pro on my rubi. I did swap out the rear springs for Clayton's as I plan on putting more than 600lbs of overland gear in bed. All in all happy with kit but it did take a bit to learn as the backend feels looser than factory but that's to be expected with its design...
