  1. Aluminum tie rod?

Looking to redo my steering components and liked the yeti xd pro drag link, track bar, and steersmart sector shaft brace, but when it comes to the tie rod they all are aluminum. Isn't that counter productive as its going to take a ton of abuse and it should be heavy thick steel?
  2. Lift kit? - man , I’m overwhelmed

I do like Clayton but it will ride stiff unless you have some weight in the bed. Really cannot go wrong with any of the main brands. The only one I'd add is rock krawler they do things slightly different in their rear. I have it matched with Clayton spings
  3. Anyone run 38’s with factory 4.10’s and been content?

I went with 5.13 also and on a recent trip that was 600 miles away i got 320 miles to a tank (granted it was a ton mtn freeway driving at 70-75). I accept it didn't build this for the freeway. Offroad its fantastic I dont miss the original tires, I only miss losing the bed as the 38 won't fit...
  4. Anyone run 38’s with factory 4.10’s and been content?

I should have mentioned freeway speeds here are 75 and most side streets are 50
  5. Anyone run 38’s with factory 4.10’s and been content?

I did for a few weeks while I waited on my gears to come in. It was not fun on the freeway as it never got out of 7th. Even quick trips around town it was always shifting up and down.
  6. Onboard air issue

Hoping someone can help as I hoping this is quick and dumb. Before leaving I tested and my air compressor worked fine in the garage (without having the jeep out all day). Today after a 4 hr trail i went to use it and nothing. Compressor would not kick on. I tried with the jeep on acc...
  7. Ophir Pass/CO BDR 7.14.2025

Heading their Sunday or monday (8/3 or 8/4) any feedback back on what time to get there (going east to west seems easier option) or conditions? Is the fire causing any issues with trails near by?
  8. Nitto 38 13.5 off road psi question

I have an opportunity to hit new trails in Telluride this weekend and while nothing hard i do want to playa round with airing down. On the freeway I run 35 but off road I've never found a number that made a difference (rampart range/dakan/easy stuff) Would a decent starting point be 18psi...
  9. Denver area Apex steering boost kit install

It's not denver but 3D Offroad - Offroad Shop - in the springs has been doing most of my work lately.
  10. Speaker kit or components?

I really do like listening to music at a higher volume when driving to the trails on the freeway and when I'm on a totally isolated trail that's not hard. To that point I've started looking at an after market system and two different installers recommendation two different approach. One said go...

  12. Wheel spacer?

I only get about a full turn and half running 38 so I'm looking at adding wheel spacers. What I cannot find is there any difference from one brand to another? I don't mind spending the cash for quality and reliability but there aren't alot of reviews other than don't buy Chinese made. What...
  13. Poor Sales Translates to job cuts

Labor unions had their time and place this isn't it. This is a direct result of the labor unions actions. For those that say it's all about profit of course it is. Every company is there for profits and if they aren't they don't last. Harsh truth

  15. Rock Krawler Pro-X Control Arms Package

I have the 3" adventure pro on my rubi. I did swap out the rear springs for Clayton's as I plan on putting more than 600lbs of overland gear in bed. All in all happy with kit but it did take a bit to learn as the backend feels looser than factory but that's to be expected with its design...

I loved my 38 nittos this winter. Granted it was closer to 8-15" but it was fun
