  1. Yes, 35.5% off a Jeep Gladiator

man, I wish I got these kinds of incentives. My JTR order had an MSRP of 68k, went OTD just shy of 56k. The silver lining is I was able to get a manual which they should never have gotten rid of.
  2. If you were in Jeep Management, what changes would you make to the Gladiator?

5.7 or 3.0 SST SO as an option for Rubi, Mojave, Max Tow, and Willys Bring back the 6 speed with a heavier flywheel, a clutch that isn’t made out of paper, and tighter gear ratios especially for 6th gear. full float axles just like wranglers get. Pentastar with dual injection for better...
  3. 5.7 Hemi coming to Gladiator? TK Garage Reports

The 5.7 + the 6 speed would be  6th would actually be capable of maintaining speed without digging into the throttle. RIP manual JT
  4. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Precisely! The dirt still goes on. Just easier to get it off when the time comes šŸ˜‰ I’m keeping mine for a long time so I’m trying to preserve the factory paint as much as I can.
  5. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Full body clear bra, modesta BC-05 glass coating, modesta BC-06 wheel coating, and modesta EGC for the glass. It looks much better than brand new when I got it in December. I also have the modesta leather treatment for the interior.
  6. Diesel shop owner fined $50k for deleting trucks.

That’s what I meant with VM Motori and they were also aware of the 6.7 Cummins cheating. I was not attacking these companies. I’ll bet you $$ the duramax and power stroke will do it if they aren’t already unless somebody makes a breakthrough with diesels. I think the EPA wants diesels gone.
  7. Diesel shop owner fined $50k for deleting trucks.

Sometimes even the manufacturer themselves have to cheat to meet emissions regulations. VM Motori, VW, and Cummins will not be the only ones caught and the over tightening of emissions will eventually lead to the diesel’s death.
  8. 3.0l Hurricane

I don’t see the 3.6 going away until the day it can no longer meet emissions without a full redesign. Jeep has been very careful with the mandatory engine choices. When they canned the 4.0 on the JK launch, they did not use the 3.7 powertech and instead opted to use the older 3.8 V6 pushrod...
  9. Motor Trend: 11 most reliable brands. Jeep just makes the cut, beating Honda.

Reliability is hard to rank because it all depends on model year, batches, conditions, and luck of the draw aka RNGesus. My previous vehicle was a ā€˜21 Tacoma with the 3.5L and the automatic gearbox gave me quite a bit of trouble with it just refusing to use 2nd gear and going from 1st to 3rd...
  10. UConnect and Phones

I am not sure what phone you are using, but here’s my 2c and hopefully it helps. CarPlay is extremely finicky when it comes to cable choice. It has become worse with the latest iPhones and the 15 Pro is by far the worst offender to the point that I’ve heard there is a class action lawsuit...
  11. Poor Sales Translates to job cuts

I worked IT in Miami-Dade College for 10 years. Each year where matriculation/retention fell, people were cut. People were hired when matriculation/retention were high. This is a ā€œnon-profit orgā€ with public funding. I worked at the University of Miami as well, a private institution. There were...
  12. Learned something new about my Mojave: engine braking?

Does the effect multiply depending on how many ducks you have on your dash?
  13. Expected incentive for January?

I got 6.49 with Chase @ 72 mo. Dealer was able to beat my credit union by almost an entire point (7.29)
  14. Jeep is holding my truck on the shipping lot for no reason

I said ā€œCould you relate to our quarter track tape? You know the band performs in the nude?ā€ He said NUH UH don’t call us, child, we’ll call you. I adore that song. I didn’t see your quote my bad ?
  15. Jeep is holding my truck on the shipping lot for no reason

this reminds me of the song ā€œDon’t Call Us, We’ll Call Youā€ by Sugarloaf

  17. Jeeps Parking Next To Jeeps

Took this one about 5 years ago. Mine was the Granite gray JL with the Sun visor (third one starting from the left). I worked at a Geek Squad (Best Buy) at the time and three coworkers had Jeeps as well. This wasn’t planned at all. I parked next to the polar bear and the other two showed up...

personally I like the ā€˜23 grille more than the 24 anyway. The new radio is nice, but I don’t like the loss of two of the circular air vents. Congratulations on your JTM! How’re you liking the 6 speed so far?
  19. Vs. 2024 ZR2... (Edit- Test Driven, opinions inside)

For me, turbocharged and gasoline is a no no for reliability. That is my personal take. Also, any engine GM makes with AFM puts stress on the transmission and TC because of the way the torque converter modulates its own lockup to cancel out the vibrations from half the cylinders basically...
