I’ve been looking around and think that there were and still are changes being made to production based on the shift consolidations as a result of the new UAW contract. They are also apparently going heavier on the hybrid gas/electric vehicles so the Gladiators might move a little slower. Hopefully once they get things going we’ll see faster progress than what it has been. We will see.

Your probably right. I’m not stressed about it anymore. I told the dealer to cancel the order I was tired of waiting on a price and the 23 models are so heavily discounted I would be dumb to get a 24 for 20k more and only 1 or two options I wanted that I can add on for minimal to the 23 I found.

Yeah, I grew up in Toledo by the Jeep plant and specifically want a sarge green Willys due to the tie in with Willys/Overland, the original military jeeps, and all the history there. Tried searching for a 2023 that met with that, but couldn’t find one anywhere near FL where I live now. Otherwise, I probably would’ve taken advantage of the 2023 discounts.

personally I like the ‘23 grille more than the 24 anyway. The new radio is nice, but I don’t like the loss of two of the circular air vents. Congratulations on your JTM! How’re you liking the 6 speed so far?

I love the Mojave! Driving the 6speed is the only way to go. Shifting is very smooth and the clutch feel is different then I’m used to so far I see no issues with the set up. Only have about 500 miles on it and have done a few small things(bigger tires,tazer,rock rails) it’s the nicest vehicle I’ve owned.

Finalizing my order for an Anvil 6 Speed JTR with all the bells and whistles possible on a non Rubicon X. Decided against the Rubicon X because I don’t like body colored Fenders or Roof and didn’t want the leather power seats because I will eventually get Katzkin Heated/Cooled Seats.

They did this same thing with the launch editions. They were ordered on the first day possible but came in months after the dealer inventory.

Unfortunately this makes sense. The dealers inventory and getting them out on the lots and displayed is most likely going to be priority.

First one from the person that started the thread was confirmed April 1, scheduled August 24th, and in production September 8th. Lots of waiting, really hope this doesn’t take 6 months.
