They're the same external size, aren't they? In my case it was exacerbated by looking through 3 layers of tinted glass. But yeah, I usually park in an open area when possible.
I had a quad cab Ram 1500 for some years before the Gladiator. It's a good truck if that's what you need; I bought it because I needed to tow a large trailer. When not towing, it was a pleasure on the highway, boring around town, and a PITA to manage in a parking lot. Gas mileage a LOT worse...
That makes sense, as the passenger side mirror is already a convex mirror, go too much wider and "objects in mirror" would definitely be "closer than they appear!"
Two different things. AGM is a type of lead-acid batttery contstruction ("Advanced Glass Mat"), whereas "marine" is an intended use; most marine batteries are deep cycle or combined deep cycle / starting use.
Other than the specialty makers like Odyssey, virtually all of the "name brand...
Combined wheelin' with cargo hauling. Well, not serious wheeling but I did need 4WD at one point. It was a case of trickle-down refrigonomics.
Got an new fridge for the house as part of a remodel. The old one was better than the fridge at the cabin, so my wife and I loaded it onto the truck...
If anybody puts these on, please report back here. I have limited neck motion and was thinking of adding the stick-ons, but this seems a nicer solution if it doesn't make the view too small.
No mirror defroster or BSM on my Sport, so that doesn't matter to me.
It takes a deep socket and some leverage to get the nut off, but you needed deep sockets and a breaker bar anyway. ;)
I have the same pedal, once I got it in I didn't like the angle so I added some 3/4" spacers between the bracket and the pedal, now it's perfect.
I reset it the other day at the start of a 200 mile trip, mostly highway but with some mountain roads in the middle, averaged 19.2 mph. Local roads around home it's usually 18 something. That's a Sport with 33" Mojave takeoffs, doing 70-80 on the highway.
My old CJ5 was a lot worse, maybe...
You guys are missing my point. I know a Tazer wil do it, but if disconnecting or jumpering the driver's seat belt switch has the desired effect (disabling autopark) with no other undesirable effects, that's a lot simpler and cheaper.
Not at all; I just to be able to look out the open door when necessary, like backing a trailer or driving up onto ramps or whatever without being slammed into park because some lawyer thinks he needs to protect me.
I know this is an old thread and may be a stupid question, but what is the downside to jumpering the seat belt switch so it thinks the seatbelt is always buckled?
Unfortunately no setting, only a Tazer can disable it
If you close the door to the first click it won't sound the horn. The problem is that I always forget and close it normally...
I didn't want to lose the dash tray and I don't like anything blocking the windshield so I went with a mount that attaches behind the passenger grab bar. A side benefit is that in hot weather you can blow the A/C vent directly on the phone to keep it from overheating. The quality of the mount...
Both the chalk test and the tire conversion chart mentioned in this thread say 32 psi, and that seems to be just right for those tires (in my case Mojave takeoffs) on my Sport.
