I’m in the land clearing business; my machines get run HARD. They all use Rotella T6.
Trucks with oil life indicators typically go ~15k miles to oil service, machines go from 500-1000 hrs depending on application. Oil analysis backs up that interval.
I change my Diesel Glad at 7500 miles...
at 35mph on level ground, roll down windows, un fasten your seat belt, shift to neutral (without hitting the brakes), depress accelerator to the floor, when rev limiter kicks in, jam it into reverse, simultaneously turn hard right....You won't ever have to sweat the oil monitor again. [/SARCASM]...
Insurance companies just suck! I have commercial vehicles, and thus commercial insurance. A few weeks ago I was minding my own business in the center lane, driving at the speed limit, when suddenly out of the far right (slow) lane a car cuts across my bow to turn left into a shopping center...
THAT would make all the difference in the world! Just think of having a ladder that goes up to the gutter but docent extend past the drip line of a roof.... Not very safe!
Was wondering if anyone was going to catch that:clap:
DISCLAIMER: THE POST WAS MEANT IN HUMOR; I WOULD NEVER USE OFF ROAD FUEL ON THE HIGHWAY..... IT'S AGAINST THE LAW!
