Just lucked out and found some almost new takeoffs on Marketplace for a good price. Unfortunately they are painted black so I had to take them to a shop to paint hydro blue.
I have a 2021 Willys Gladiator with the lower painted fenders. The rear tail lights are LED but the DRL and turn signals are halogen lights. I recently acquired some highline Rubicon painted fenders and want to switch them out for extra clearance. The lighting on the Rubicon fenders is LED. Am I...
I have a 2021 Jeep Gladiator Willys with the Mopar lift, take off high-line Rubicon fenders and 4.88 gears. I would like to put some 37” BFG AT tires on it. I would like to know the smallest offset wheel i would need to accommodate these tires without rubbing the control arms at full lock. Would...
+12mm. I’ve seen a few Rubicons with those wheels on 37” tires but the Rubicons have slightly wider axles. I just want to know if they will rub on the narrower axles.
I have a 2021 Willys Gladiator with the Mopar Bilstein 2” lift. I want to purchase the Mopar slotted performance wheels 77072494AB and run 37x12.5x17 BFG K02s. The wheels are 8.5” in width with a +12mm offset (5.22 inch backspace). Do you think I will have any issues rubbing on the front lower...
Are you happy with the 4.88? I know a lot of guys say to go 5.13 but I’m at just above sea level, only plan to run the smaller lighter BFG AT tire and I don’t tow a lot so I thought 4.88 would be more suited for me.
Currently running 285/75/17 Toyo Open Country AT3 tires on a 2021 Gladiator Willys automatic. My ultimate goal is to run 37x12.5x17 BFG K03 Load C when they come out later this year. I’d like to get the gears done now just to get the process started. Do you guys see any issue running smaller...
I just had the Mopar 2” lift with Bilstein shocks put on. The picture below is with 285/75/17 Toyo AT 3 tires. Long term plan is to paint and add the Rubicon fenders I acquired, switch to 4.88 spicer gears and go with a 37” BFG K03 tire in load range C. It’s insane how
much it costs to modify...
You basically need a proper 3.5-4.5” lift
to get the clearance properly with your lower fender flares. The Mopar lift is basically only good for 35” tires on the lower fender trims. The 3.5” Clayton Overland Plus is probably what you want to pick up. I’m unfortunately in the same boat as I own a...
I looked into that AEV lift but isn’t it only recommended if you run a very heavy bed and are always loaded down? For someone that runs with an empty bed most of the time or light weight cargo wouldn’t it be a very stiff ride. I’m just curious.
I’m up in central Canada and we get extreme winters so I’m aware of what the climate and salt can do to a vehicle. I’ve heard Metalcloak say a few times that the gold protectant zinc does wear off but that rusting shouldn’t be an issue. I have no personal experience however. One of the other...
Not sure where you live but I’ve heard Clayton lifts rust like crazy. The Mopar lift with an adjustable front track bar would probably be a good option. Metacloak game changer has nothing but great reviews but you’re going to be spending big bucks.
Anybody have any details on the new Rock Krawler partnership with Mopar? I’ve heard there lifts can now be installed at the dealership with warranty and part of the JPP program. It would be nice option to get a 3.5” lift covered under warranty.
Hi. I want to eventually run a 37x12.5 BFG K02 tire on the Mopar Performance Slotted wheels which are 8.5” wide with 5.2” backspacing. Will I rub the lower control arms on a 2021 Willys with the narrower axles? I just don’t want to invest that much money to find out they will rub. Any help would...
Have a couple questions regarding lift size to accommodate a small 37" BFG tire on a Gladiator trim with the lower fender flares. Would the Mopar lift with a 1/2" spacer on the front be enough to accommodate a smaller 37" tire? Would a a 3.5" lift be more ideal? Would the Clayton 2.5" or 3.5"...
Hello,
I just acquired a 2021 Jeep Gladiator Willys and absolutely love it. It was within my lower budget and it had very low mileage and in the hydro blue color that I wanted. I have replaced the stock 32” mud terrains with 285/75/17 (34”) Toyo Open Country AT3s and have put a Teraflex 1.5”...
