I just purchased a new to me alu-cab contour canopy. Is anyone building a product similar to the ammo box slide that alu-cab sells? I use packouts and would prefer to use them over the ammo boxes and I don't find dimensions.
In normal travel is why a spare might be nice. It could be dropped when you need clearance. 90% of the time these trucks are street driven 10% they need clearance.
watch fb marketplace. they are always in tx. I live in northern, ok and always see them in and around the metroplex. I think there is one near el paso I have seen somewhere
I have tracked it down to a voltage drop. The transfer case sensor just drops voltage every so often. I tried the sensor and it still does it so I take the sensor out off the tree. I toned the power wire and it toned to up by the fuse box. Ground cannot tone. I guess start shaking connectors
Abs wire was a splice on the vehicle side. Funny thing is I tested it both ways and the way I wired it is how it turned out the light and how it looked like it ripped out.
Driveshaft was straight forward. Unbolt the shaft, knock the nut off, tap the flange, install the yolk, tighten the nut.
2020 rubicon, metalcloak 3.5 gamchanger 3.5, adams front driveshaft, apex 2.5t steering, aal front bumper with winch
While doing installation instructions damaged the truck side of the front abs sensor wire, I replaced the connector and cleared codes but I am still lit up like a Christmas...
Your jeep was what I told my wrap guy to be similar to. I love it. I mainly did the wrap fo protect it from trees in the Ozarks. Im trying to get my hands on truck caps to see what floats my boat on functionality.
I am looking at camper shells
Westin exp, ovs rough country, rsi smartcap, alucab, openroad or whatever variant. Anyone have experience with these. I dont want a fiberglass. The slip fit of the westin i like, the roughcountry has a lot of features for the money but weird molle shape. Comments...
It has 3.5 springs on the front 4.5" springs on the rear. It's actually uphill toward the front that may be why it looks like that. I do have a bedslide and some packouts.
I did a new one. I did the adams. If you use stock shocks you wont need to but I did the rocksport reds and they got enough drop that the stock driveline bound early.
