People pay $100K plus on toys all the time, look how expensive boats can be. $100K to you might seem like $100 to someone else. I've put a lot more than that on toys......my money, not someone else's to worry about.
I would never buy a Jeep that had one of those air restricting grills; no telling how many times it has overheated. Stupid dealer should have replace grill before advertising.
Why is AEV even mentioned? This is not an AEV build or has any AEV parts such as their bumpers, etc. This Snazberry Gladiator has the AMW707 motor swap and Teraflex suspension installed by Joes Jeep Jungle. I see no mention of AEV parts or modifications performed by AEV. I had an AEV 392...
Did you a find a way to cover it up? No, it doesn't bother me and I'm pretty OCD.
Will Water/Rain damage the wire/connector? I doubt it, I haven't seen it discussed as an issue on any of the forums.
I would call AllTerrain and see if you can get a guaranteed date they will overhaul your shocks and hold off removing/shipping until about 7-10 days prior and live without your Gladiator for a week or so until you receive the shocks back. Probably will reserve you a rebuild date if you pay in...
I didn't know Carvana sold brand new Jeeps, they have a pretty good select of Rubicon X and Mojave X JT's with about $9,500 off sticker. Wonder what their dealer mark-ups (rip-off charges) are compared to most local dealers, anyone know?
Referring to the OP's post, I didn't see and area of the seats that were split or cracked?, just extremely dirty from being neglected and not cleaned or leather treated for a long time but nothing that can't be corrected with proper treatment. Are we looking at the same picture of the seats?
The OEM/Mopar Katzkin leather seat covers with the Jeep grill can be ordered from the Mopar accessory catalog. And probably directly from Katzkin also.
Katzkin regularly runs sales of $500 off; another good brand is Alea leather, comparable or better than Katzkin. I had Alea leather installed by AEV in my JKU (pic attached), I've had Katzkin in another vehicle (no pic). The factory leather in my Mojave X is as good and probably better than...
Ouch....clean and leather preserve that back seat! Then get a Weathertech cover to protect it while transporting your friendly K9. This is where I buy my leather treatment stuff. https://www.griotsgarage.com/wash-detail/leather-interiors-liquids/
My opinion is the OP is flat wrong if comparing a stock unmodified JLU and a stock unmodified JT.........My stock 2025 JT Mojave X rides much better than my stock 2026 JLU Rubicon. My JT Mojave X actually seems plush compared to my JLUR probably due to the specific Mojave suspension combined...
I had an AEV snorkel on my JKUR with the AEV hood. It was quiet but didn't realize any performance benefit since I didn't follow others kicking up dust off road. My factory stock 2025 JT MojaveX with the 3.6 engine already draws cool "ram" air from an air inlet opening in the grill (passenger...
Agree, time to get this thread back to the original question without the politics. :) Quote: "if you live in CA with an AMW V8 conversion, how are you passing the visual smog inspection?"
I'm curious what the warranty company (Zurich) will say when/if they inspect your vehicle and see aftermarket suspension parts. Will that be enough for them to not warranty your claim? Please keep us updated...curious because I have a lifetime powertrain warranty through them. BTW I thought...
