I'm doing some really rough math here. I'm looking at the wrangler combined MPG as a basis for how the Gladiator might be.
Assumptions:
Combined MPG: 19 on the Pentastar and 24 on the Diesel
Cost to upgrade: $4000 if you are already getting the automatic
Price per gallon: $2.18 regular and...

So I want to start a new thread where those who have upgraded their JT's to larger than factory sized tires can post their MPGs and range. Though those running completely stock or just with nonfactory tires/wheels should also post. It will be a one stop thread for all info regarding this...
Given that you can only get the Eco-diesel is only available on certain trim levels for the Ram and Grand Cherokee, does anybody think it will be offered as low as the Sport S model, or will it be reserved for the higher trim levels?
The Gladiator interests me because I would of loved to get a Wrangler but am currently in need of a vehicle that can also tow. So the Gladiator obviously is going to interest me.
I am however disappointed and find the combination of what options are available for which trims to be odd...
When the 3.0L EcoDiesel Gladiator arrives in 2020, it will boast the most torque of any Jeep — at 442 lb-ft of torque. But, the diesel Gladiator won’t reach the full 7650 lbs tow capacity of the 3.6L Pentastar Gladiator. It’s expected to tow approximately 500 pounds less.
