Lend a hand here ,Terry. I am confused by all the posts of tail light replacements causing havoc with the lighting system.

I have a Sport S 2023. The truck is in storage and I don't have access for a few weeks more. I am guessing the Sport S has halogen tail lights. I'd like the Oracle LED flush mounts. Will these just sub right in without mods to the connections or programming, and not make my lighting system go nuts?

This is a very good question. As the BCM in the Gladiator is different for different models and seems to be different for submodels and even model years, there might be some added steps when installing. The lights are designed to be plug and play. This should be the norm. According to our website: Factory halogen equipped Jeeps may experience issues such as reverse lights strobing or shutting down. If this occurs, please be sure to connect the included resistors per the included diagram.

We do incldue the resitors if needed to take care of that. Some Halogen Equipped Gladiators may require the use of a programmer to prevent the Park Lights from shutting down.

The BCM looks for the correct voltage signal to return based on LED or Halogen. LED is a lower draw and therefore a lower return. If this is an issue, then look at getting a programmer, such as tazer or JScan.
