The use case for a spotlight is very specialized; a "hyper-focused" beam even more so. Unless you can install an array of these lights to provide a broader beam, I don't see how these would be useful for Jeeps in the real world where trails go up and down and turn left and right. You're certainly not going to use these on public roads. I suppose these could be useful on the dead-straight roads in the Australian Outback, but even then they would be supplemental to a proper set of lights with a beam pattern broad enough to illuminate the sides of the road too.

Does Oracle have any plans to use this lighting technology in a flood light beam pattern? Or a fog light beam pattern?

You are absolutely correct. The use case here is for that hyper-focused beam pattern for those slightly higher speeds where distance is important. We make fog lights for the shorter distance where out-running your lights is not a factor. We do offer this currently.

I am not sure we would use a laser fog for flood applications.
