Now maybe I can hear when someone is talking. Hopefully stop the, repeat last, all the time. Still need to finish running the speaker wire to the unit. It is under the passenger seat.

I did the same thing but with two speakers. I actually have three radios and will probably add a third speaker. Behind the drivers head is a great place as its very easy to hear and you can turn it down real low and not bother passengers.

I just put the units themselves by my head. Realized i couldn't hear shit with just a handheld and the top down. This turned out pretty well, easy to manipulate and extra storage for jackets and stuff.

Finally got it all hooked up. Wow that little speaker is loud!

Volume on 1, disabled beeps and tones. pointed the speaker down.
Granted that is sitting still so will be curious to see how it is when driving.
