Thats pretty awesome. I have had pretty much everythign off since March except for a few sad days where I needed to do truck things and put my stupid doors back on. My kids were so confused and like "daddy don't you hate the doors"

Only thing that sucked is looking at the JT under a cover on days it rained.

I have been rolling with the top part of the soft top still attached and no carpet. Gotten an occasional drizzle when parked and just pulling the top down has been enough to keep out 95% or the rain

sitting on 164 days myself this year, no top no doors. I am not going to make it to 170 though, looking at a couple morning drives in the upper 30's next week so I'm tapping out.

I took it from my beach house to my main house one night in a storm. For the 1.5 hour ride it was pouring and my only option was to maintain speed. Had the defroster cranked to keep the inside of the window partially clear. I felt like I was in an episode of Grand Tour / Top Gear.

Worst I had it was one morning I parked it on part of the lawn in the direct path of a sprinkler head. It had about 3" of water in it before I pulled the plugs.

Didn’t count but about a month. Although, it is easy to run wide open 365 here. Just sayin.

I actually stopped by an autozone in early spring and picked up a squeegee that I now keep behind the passenger seat. Yes, I have squeegeed the inside of my window while driving.

Brilliant. I need to get one of those.

When I was younger a friend of mine stood up in the back seat of one of my YJs on the highway one night and pissed out the back. The vortex circulated piss all over the interior, on the inside of the windshield, me and the other passenger. Squeegee would have been handy.

wow. I haven't been full topless in a storm yet, only doorless and that was interesting.

I had one pop up storm where the water was past my ankle. Drove home like that at the request of my daughter so she could splash. when I pulled the plug it to a little while for that water to go down.

Is your carpet still in yours?

It is

Was in the 90s that day so I just left it out in the sun and it dried out.
Good to know it can dry out that quick. Mine got wet and just kind of refused to dry at one point due to the humidity down here.

the weather is too unpredictable here in NC for more than a few days of sun with a slight chance of showers. i worry about frying the leather and fading the interior though, how do all yours look after so many days?

its a little dusty and soiled on the dash, but that will all clean out no problem with some armorall/turlewax. I also pulled the carpet out of mine, and have drain plugs pulled as well. can not see any noticeable fading yet. I had doors/top off last year for 90 day as well
