i have a sport s with the narrow axles and rubicon fenders. im on stock wheels with 285x75r17. im a little tucked right now but i want to lift the truck 3.5 inches and run 37s. im looking at a 17x8.5 wheel with 0 offset and 4.75 backspacing. or a 17x9 -12 offset with 4.60 inches backspacing. will the half inch wider wheel sit further away from my frame to give me more clearance or will the 0 offset wheel work ok. anybody with pictures of either wheel offset want to share i would greatly appreciate it. i dont want to mess up lol

Before you buy any wheels, decide on which lift you want and see what their requirement is for back spacing of wheels. Most spell out 4.50" or less of back space.
If it's not listed in the info for the lift, email the MANUFACTURER and ask. Not a reseller but the actual manufacturer.
