Hello fellow forum members,
Last week I purchased my 1st Jeep. A 2021 Jeep Gladiator Mojave in sting grey. I have always wanted a Jeep, and last week I was able to finally purchase one after many...many years of admiring other Jeeps on the road.
I can already say the Jeep community where I'm from (NWI/Chicagoland) is a very welcoming one. I didn't realize how real of a thing the "Jeep Wave" was lol. It's awesome to see how sharing a common interest can connect random people in this way.
With that said I'm going to be browsing this forum and more than likely ask many "Noob" questions as I have zero experience with Jeeps, but I'm extremely excited to see where this Jeep takes me!
I'm loving the Sting Grey color. Depending on the lighting it looks many different shades of grey.
Would love any recommendations or suggestions for a noob like myself. I won't do anything crazy with the Jeep until I learn its driving characteristics, and just a little bit more about off roading in general. For the immediate future I am wanting to buy some side steps/running boards. I am used to driving a 2015 VW GTI as my daily and that car was lowered...so definitely a completely different feel lol.
