So what did you loosen to install the 2.5" spacers? Seems like it would be hard to get enough drop in the axle to get this and the spring back in place? And did you do one side at time leaving the wheel on one side at all times?
used 2 jack stands under the frame. Did the passenger side first, removed lower shock bolt, sway bar link, brake line from LCA, and track bar bolt on the axle. Lower the axle and you’ll have enough room/play to push the axle down and pull that spring out.

on the drivers side I did the shock, sway, brake, and left the trackbar disconnected on the passenger side.

it’s super easy. I’ve done it twice in 3 weeks (originally went 1.5” but added another .5” a few weeks later).

you should loosen and retorque the control arms but you don’t have to do that to install the spacer.

Here’s a video that shows you how easy it is

I had issues with being able to get the frame high enough to allow the axle to drop enough. On both sides, my rotors were centimeters from the garage floor as my floor stands couldn't get high enough. The video above is great at explaining what is needed.

i did the teraflex 1.5” with another .5” on top. Looking at the instructions for the RC 2.5” there is no difference other than size. Quit worrying so much, you can do it.:)

LOL!!!! Yeah I believe so. Like i said, my biggest worry is not changing out any of the other components (Adjustable track bar control arms etc.)and having drivability issues. Just hope all is good with just what's in the box!

the good thing is those can be added later. For what it’s worth with 2” spacers on my rubicon the axle only shifted about 1/8”. I think everyone’s mileage varies there though, some say 3/4” shift with less lift. You’ll find out!

Ive read through several threads on this. I just purchased this Rough Country spacer kit for my Overland. Per all of the install videos and RC what is in the box is all that is needed and after reading hundreds of reviews Most are extremely happy with the results. My main concern is are issues with Death wobble, vibration at high speeds etc.? I believe doing this throws the front axle slightly off center? Is anyone reading this running this setup and with or without any issues as is with only what comes in this $100 kit?
I've had mine installed for 3 years with no problems!

Well I got it done yesterday. Rides and drives great had it up to almost 90 mph on the express way. No vibrations, wobbles etc. Took me about 3 hrs. Weird how it seemed like the drivers side is much easier to do than the passenger side! One thing I don't like is the provided linger sway bar links. Passenger side link pulls in to the drivers side at the top putting a slight angle on it and some pressure on the rubber bushings!? Drivers side lined up perfectly. Almost like they should have put more of a kick on the angle of the Passenger side swaybar link. I'll have to keep an eye on it. Anyone else experienced this?

I put rear OEM links on the front and they both tip in at the top. Did you look at your lower shock mount? It’s probably at a slight angle too. Both of my sway bar links and front shocks look like this / \

Interesting, no my shocks tilt slightly at the bottom, I noticed when putting the bolts through the shock extension and shock. Really only notice the tilt at passenger side sway bar link.
