IDK, the performance it there obviously. possibly in prep to help cool the 4XE which may still be 3.6 4xe not 2.0. I do love the classic look of the old school paint matched 7 bars. Its simple and fits the brand. This new grill looks a little too close to new school bronco. If i could get the 7 bar outlines paint matched to help accent and pay homage to its forefathers. I'd be more on board with a swap.
