2026 Sahara - Max Tow

Starting to see the Sahara hit some dealer lots. Does anyone have any info on the towing capacity. Was a rumor it might have a max tow package.

I would assume you have already looked at the Jeep website to build one with your desired options. It is of course subject to change but all I see there for the Sahara is the Trailer Towing package. That is not to be confused with the Max Towing package. The Trailer Towing package just includes the hitch, 4/7 plug connectors and I guess a larger alternator and cooling fan. At least that's what they included in the past. But again, that package does not change the actual towing capacity of the vehicle. It just provides the stuff you need to tow.

Yeah it does. It raises it to 6k lbs.

Well, then I stand corrected. In the past, the towing packages were generally there for convenience but not for changes to capacities.
