3.5” backspace wheels

Pics and specs of 3.5” backspace wheels and 12.5” + wide tires would be very helpful. I have a narrow (non-rubi and not max tow) axle JT and would like to not rub when I get upgraded straight links. Currently on 35x12.5x17 MTRs with factory wheels. Slight rub. Thanks in advance ??

You posted 3.5" backspacing for the wheels you are considering..
Backspacing 101 From the factory, the Gladiator has around 6 inches of backspacing, which keeps the tire tucked well inside of the fender; Aug 28, 2020

3.5" backspacing will push the wheel OUT; will put the tire tread out side the fender. The Mojave I show has 4.5" backspace wheels; no rubbing. Trust this helps.
