If you're looking for winter performance, then you'll want to stay away from M/Ts. Some are better than others, but its the larger tread voids and lack of siping that are the issue. The OEM M/Ts on my JKU Rubicon were scary on packed snowy roads and ice (I used to live in CO). They did fine in deep snow and unplowed roads. I replaced them with Duratracs and it was night and day better. My two cents...
I guess this is why I’m hesitant on the Pat’s. My old K02s were amazing in winter. But I wanted to go a bit bigger than the 37s on the Gladiator and you can’t get anything bigger that is snowflake rated. I’ve heard good things about the Pat’s but I don’t know anyone who dailys them in winter climates and wanted to see if anyone had any feedback of them in those climates so I can decide. I guess worse case is I would run 37 K02s and see how they work with the long wheel base.

The only thing that works well on ice is good bourbon.
