INSTALL:

With a small flat bladed or pointed tool you can carefully pry out the old ones. (you may want to put the edge of a cloth or rag under where you are prying down on the side edge of the shifter to get the plastic out) but it's not mandatory. Once it's out - there is a retainer spring that will either be on the plastic piece or in the center hole. If it's in the hole you can just put the new one in BUT if it's on the plastic piece you took out you'll have to move it to the new metal piece.

Putting the new ones in is easy - they will push most of the way in by hand, at that point I take a cloth again to cover the top of the insert tap it in with a mallet rubber or plastic, so that it sets all the way down in.

Agreed. OP, please consider the constructive criticism. I’ve no doubt that these products are well made, but the prices are way beyond your competitors. For $100, I’d buy the entire shift knob. I’m genuinely not trying to be rude. I double-checked, and replacement Mopar shift knobs for the tranny and transfer case are available for less than $100 from reputable Mopar dealers. How can we justify spending $100 on a stainless insert? These would sell like hotcakes for around $25. And this is coming from a Jeep person that spends way more than is reasonable customizing my gladiator. Thanks for listening.
