I bought a set of Rubicon takeoffs for my Overland that included the TPMS sensors.
Had no issues at all. I just took overland rims/tires off and put Rubicon rims/tires on.
As soon as I started driving the correct tire pressure was shown. I checked it with a gauge.

Why would the sensors be different for the Rubicon, because of the rims? I had no issues with the takeoffs.

I BELIEVE, don't hold me to this, but I BELIEVE it's for the Rubicon tire fill alert - they work in conjunction with the alert when you want to lower the pressure (I think it beeps when you get down to your psi) and then when you refill, it beeps when you reach your fill goal.
I can't say if the TPMS I bought for mine were only Sport/Overland, etc. or if they were for Rubicon and below. But they work GREAT.
Frankly, the Rubicon TPMS should be downward compatible, but the ones for Overland likely would not have the tire fill alert bit?
I'm speculating here.........

Yea maybe. I think If my overland tire pressure gets low, I only get a light on the dash.
Maybe the Rubicon software is setup to also beep the horn, but then it would not need a special TPMS sensor.

'if pressure below xxx..light dash light and beep horn..If pressure above xxx ..turn off dash light and beep horn'
