My point was just that a bed extender isn't necessary. Or even helpful. Its not going to slide out the back and if it overhangs the tailgate by a foot its fine. Even the base Gladiator has 4 tie down rings in the bed. Plenty to strap it down standing up with another around the back to be 100% sure it won't slide out if you rev it to 6000 rpm and dump the clutch.I was just saying a bed extender would give you the room you need to fit it in the rear standing up. Unless your buying a 100 inch TV, with the Tailgate down and a bed extender it will fit. I hauled a 82 inch in the back of mine to the repair shop with the tail gate down and it laying flat and it was about 2 to 4 inches onto the tailgate.
