Hey, Michigan here, old Wrangler JK here looking to convert to Gladiator.
Called up my local dealership, none on the lot, nothing good for dealer trade, so onto custom order. 100% want the Max Tow package, which gives an option of the 850RE trans or the 8HP75 trans.
I've been told the 8HP75 trans is the ZF trans same used in BMW, and good, so I wanted to get that. Dealer says 8HP75 is not available for order, but it is a selectable option on the gladiator build jeep.com website if you configure a new Gladiator + max tow package.
Anyone know if something's going on with the 8HP75? If it will come back? Or if the dealer is pulling my leg?
