Active Safety Group question

I bought a new 2020 Gladiator with the Active Safety Group and was thinking as I pulled it inside my Garage the closer I got to the wall in front of it a Buzzer or something like that went off and a screen came up on the Dash showing yellow and then red lines the closer to the wall I for. It does not do this now. Was I dreaming that it actually done this or now? Someone that has this option please chime in and tell me it supposed to do that.....TIA

Check to see if you turned it off. There is a button and/or in the settings.

On mine, it only has the back up sensors in the rear in the bumper and the sensors in the tail lights for blind spot monitoring and the cross traffic feature.... so no, if you go look at your bumpers those little circles in the back bumper are not in the front one so it doesn't beep or do anything in the front. I also have the active cruise control (ACC) and it has stuff behind the rear view mirror, but again, nothing that is going to beep or tell you that you are close to hitting something up front. Last I have the front trail camera... this does show me my bumper and in front of it so I could probably get within inches of the wall.... but again... no beeping.

Do you front camera? I only have back up and only get the beeping when backing up. that I have noticed. Does not do it even when pulling close to a car in front of me. Now if I'm at speed and there is something stopped in front of me, the brakes are automatically engaged and we come to a stop.

I think I must have been thinking about a Nissan Titan I had. I have checked everything in settings and there is not a sensor on the front that I could find.....I did turn mine off so it would not brake when running up on something......Just make a beeping sound.....Thanks for the reply!!

Gets hard to remember all the different feature of the different vehicles. Hell I have to stop when I pull into the gas station and go through a whole thought process on which vehicle I'm in and which side the damn gas fill is on. Why anyone put it on the passenger side I will never understand. Glad the Gladiator is on my side.
