How to see active gear?

I searched a couple ways and did not find anything.

My ‘23 Sport S with 10.4 display, does not show the active transmission gear while driving. What am I missing/

My wife’s ’21 Grand Cherokee shows the gear number on the electronic dash right below the PRN(#)

Mine just shows D when driving.

Apparently I found it thru the Settings Menu ? while parked!

Same here found it yesterday, Ive only had my 23 since the 12th of this month, a very different interface but, has a lot at our finger tips.

My brother has a Willy's JL and I mentioned that very feature and he seemed confused. I'm sure it has to be there right?

I think I found it in the settings by accident. Life is full of happy accidents.

While stopped with in run position go to settings then change it. To.. show current gear.

Can this be done on a 21?

I’ve got a 2020 Max Tow and usually shift Jeep manually. Programmed so that each gear shift is shown at top of the panel. Running in auto mode will show each downshift or upshift . A must have if you drive manually. Check your manual for setup, very easy.
