I know NOTHING about stereos and will be having a professional install this
how hard would it be to add something like this if I’m adding an aftermarket amp anyway? Could I control and or eliminate sound from the head unit?

As an alternative how about something like this? If I went this way could it play music at the same time as the system in the same truck off the same phone?
