Subaru to Jeep

Hello everyone! I am a Subaru employee and my blood bleeds blue! I love Subaru!!! When I started dating the love of my life she introduced me to the Jeep world, and I am beyond excited! I plan to Buy whatever lot unit Sport S model is available after the "newness" of the Gladiator wears down a bit. A convertible manual truck is something I would have dreamed about as a kid, and I can't believe it is a reality now!
I, unfortunately, will be one of those annoying softroaders, but I have ample knowledge of the car market and dealership tactics. I am happy to be a resource to people that have questions in that regard! My significant other has a 2014 JK Sport in the Sting Ray Gray I think its called. We love it!!! Anyway, I am looking forward to years of info sharing and stories on here! Happy Jeeping everyone!!

Awesome pictures, I know people love their Subarus, and it's a constant cross shop for Jeep consumers coming in to my dealership. Glad that your girlfriend showed you the light of the Jeep life with the top down. Anvil is a really cool color and I would love to see it on a Jeep again.

Welcome to the Jeep family....don’t let that girl go, clearly she’s making a better man outta ya! I understand the transition (though I have huge respect for Subies, I came from Honda’s and traded off a Mazda Protege5 wagon to join my wife as a Wrangler owner)

As a 14, hers would be Anvil, a predecessor to Sting Gray. I’ll be replacing my Anvil with a manual Gladiator ASAP.

Welcome to the community! If you have a girl that loves Jeeps and going off road then hang on to her because she is a keeper! I know this from experience and here we are 24 years later on the 21st of this month. We actually took my Jeep on our honeymoon and it was absolutely incredible! I wish the same for you my friend...

Thank you for the kind words everyone! She is not going anywhere! hahaha she is truly fantastic!! Anvil, ok I figured I had that wrong lol! We are going to our first Jeep offroad course with her JK next weekend actually. There are alot of jeep type trails around us, and I am sure we will get out together with them! My wife has the Subaru Forester and I have the 14 Anvil JkU. Both are great. Just don’t try taking for Subaru where the Jeep goes, it does not work I know I tried. Lol

Oh, I found out the hard way. One front bumper later lmao! It is hands down the most stable car in the snow, goes along better than her JK, but no locking diffs (aside from center ofcourse), pretty poor approach and departure angles, and a VDC system that is programmed to protect the transmission all add up to jeep trails being a hard no.
