I'm running a 3.5" lift and I've been trying to educate myself on adjustable control arms , track bars etc but I'm having a difficult time understanding how they are adjusted. Do you have to physically unbolt these parts every time and re adjust or do you turn the adjustments when it's already bolted on.

Depends on which brand you get. Most have a jam nut, a HUGE jam nut, and on those you have to disconnect an end to adjust.

Some have a double adjust sleeve, threaded inside and outside, and you just loosen a pinch bolt, make your adjustment, then torque down pinch bolt.

Thanks I'll have to look everything over. I have the core 4x4 t4 adjustable front lower arms (not installed ) rubicon express rear adjustable track bar and RC adjustable track bar. I'm assuming the RC track bar is the pinch bolt one and the others are the Jam nut.

I swapped out a crappy set of adjustable arms for a set of Savvy/Currie double adjustable arms on my TJ. It made it soooo easy to dial in pinion angles and caster. But, it is an extra set of Jam nuts to keep an eye on. Worth the trade off. I am not sure what is out there for the JT.
