Affordable camping options?

Okay so, I've been searching on this forum as well as all over google, for some affordable (<$15,000) camper trailers? I'm mainly looking for something smaller, maybe for 2, three people max...that is hard shell style. I did find Hiker Trailers, and love their work, but I would certainly like to have other options before I decide. What do you all think? What suggestions do you have?

Yeah, Ive seen the airstreams, but I'm trying to stick to something less. A leightweight teardrop or camper trailer that isn't anything more than maybe 15k. Airstream sure is nice, but too much for what I need.

If I was doing it again I'd check into an A-frame style. Not sure of price but certainly less than Airstream. I've been inside one of these A frame styles and was impressed at how well they maximize the space. Towing should be no problem at all for the JT; the biggest one is 2,649 lb dry.

Late to this but some info on Scamp's I have a 16ft Deluxe it's been a good one for me, my LJ was it's tow vehicle. I've pulled it a few thousand miles, but mostly static. I'm still working and I have been full time living with it. It's not a good one for off road use improved roads ok "keep it's weight down". The AC is great I could about hang meat on it during most summer days if parked in shade here in AL. It's showing it's use . I wanted to cut away from a lot of stuff and house: wasteful, unnecessary and expensive's and live life again. Life of less is more. If I would have been fully retired I would have got the 13 ft.
