Air down.
1. Your engine will not work as hard trying to pull through the sand.
2. Airing down will leave less of a footprint, thus allowing us to continue to drive on certain beaches legally. The day is coming they will try and shut it down because of erosion.

Savage one, I am very familiar with the stretch of beach you are talking about, the picture you took is the ramp going towards the dune, coming off the beach and getting up the dune is where most get stuck. Delaware has some nasty soft sand at places, air down to about twenty and don’t embarrass the Jeep legend! Congrats on getting the permit, wow have they messed up that process!……Jack
yep you’re right and it definitely worked the jeep a little more then I was expecting

My one experience driving on the beach was in a TJ, with no LSD and no lockers at Assateague Island. I started out at full pressure. And it was awful. Aired down, and from them on, easy sailing
