BIG time. Rotational weight depending upon wheels can climb into the 130's in lbs range ez. And the impact on MPG is significant. IMO if you want to run 37's be it for looks or OR you NEED 4:88 cogs.
I agree, 35's will not have much impact. but 37's will need changes

undecided about getting a lift with 35 in tires anybody have any pros or cons on way or the other ?

does its just come down to look or is their some functionality issues as well

If all things are equal what would look better
35x12.5 in stock sport 7.5x17 wheels. No spacers, no chops, no rubbing fully flexed! Just removed the ugly plastic air dams. Slight rake but level when pulling.

2" lift with 33s. When these tires are done I may go with slightly narrower, slightly taller tires. This thing is a dog, so I'm not real excited about making it worse, but by then maybe I'll be over it.

2" and 35's for me. Want the better breakover angle, but don't want massive tires that may rub and hopefully I will be able to get her in the garage (8' door)
New comment on an old thread.
I trust you made it JUST BARELY under the 96" garage door opening? ;) I want a picture if you still hit your garage door.
Was a legitimate fear for me when i brought home my JK 4-6" adjustable coilovers on 37"s... I could only fit about a finger's width in-between jeep roof and bottom of open door.(7'):whew:

Added a 2023 rubicon gladiator diesel. Installed the 2" mopar lift. Right now it is lifted with stock wheels and tires (just bought it on Saturday) Have to choose wheels and tires now. Im leaning torwards 37's but if i can find the perfect stance with a wide 35", i could be tempted.
