After selling my beloved C5 Z06 I had space in my tiny german standard garage and tried to shoehorn my also beloved Gladiator in it. And it worked out!

The challenge was now that i might keep the car for maybe one or two month in the garage and this would definetly require some care for the batteries.

Problem is that the space is so narrow that I could not do it conventionally direct on the battery and the cigar lighter is also not allways connected (maybe could be changed with jscan).

So I worked out an alternative way ...

Would you please tell me where you bought it and specifically what it’s called? The one with the red and black wires. Something this easy I’m sure I could do. I’d really like to be prepared for the upcoming cold months. At what ambient temperature and duration in those temperatures do I need to consider using it to keep the batteries charged? Worse case scenario temperatures in the single digits to low teens for a week or so?

7 pin universal trailer plug in is from Walmart. Wire from Amazon made for noco chargers. Cut noco charger wire and adapted to universal plug. These batteries don’t like setting without driving for days Or doing short runs more then temperature.

I have to back into my garage and it's tight, so I cut in a 50A Anderson receptacle into my passenger's side wheel well. Only drive ~20 mi/week (I'm an old guy) and still have the original batteries although I suspect the Aux. Battery died 6 months ago.

Thank you so much, JWJeep.
Mike 921921, I have everything close by and during the week drive very little also. Adding our winter temperatures won’t help either. I just want to be sure the Jeep starts when I need it. Thank you both
