Android App Attachment issues

I have been seeing issues with attaching photos with the android app. Sometimes it works fine, sometimes you select the photo but it won't upload it. I haven't found a pattern as to why it does or doesn't, other than just try again later and it might work fine.

I've tried clearing data, uninstalling and reinstalling. I've tried different photos, different photo sizes, different file sizes, different formats.... No dice. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
