Has anyone on here had a manufacturer vehicle buy back?

Toyota gave me 1.5x KBB retail excellent condition on my 2000 Tacoma under their frame rust buy back program. The truck was something like 4 years and 70,000 miles past factory warranty.

I took that money and put it into a 2005 Tacoma.
In 2015 and with 170,000 on the clock Toyota replaced the frame in that truck under the same or a similar program.

I sold that truck in February after buying the Gladiator. I listed it on FB and it was gone in 3 minutes, with 6 others calling seconds.

Toyota has my respect forever for what they did on those trucks. As I understand it, the program was funded by a settlement they received from steel suppliers.

In both instances I was contacted as the current owner by Toyota and was asked to bring the truck in for inspection.

The process was easy and expedient.

Had both trucks for a few days before the 2000 went to the crusher.

The dealer that did the frame replacement on the 05 got lazy and parked it in a field for a few months. They claimed they were waiting on the parts, but I had a theory that they were just busy doing other things and really didn't want to get started on the monstrous job.
Toyota provided free rental vehicles.

After some back and forth I took to social media and launched a campaign.
Their slogan was "Haley Has It! Yes We Do!" and these two characters were in their commercials.
After a couple of rounds on Facebook with these Photoshops, they miraculously got the parts in and got started. ?

I sold it for a good bit over book, but people know me and know that I take excellent care of my stuff.
I also sold a Mazda CX-5 because the dealers and car max didn't want to give me what I thought it was worth.
They offered about $7500. I washed it, vacuumed it, took some pictures and listed it for $12,500.
I got a phone call from a friend in five minutes on that one. He said his brother wants it.
I told him it was ok to come that night. He was at my house in an hour with $12,500 cash in a zip lock bag.
Same thing. Numerous people calling seconds.

The 14 Mazda on sale day
