So jeep customer retention called me to tell me that my case has been escalated to buy back dept....

Not sure what to expect now, been in the shop near 6 weeks for the fuel issue, been in the shop almost 50% of the time I've owned it since Feb....

One thing I heard about is mileage deduction. But jeep had me put 3k miles on it to try and get the emissions system to work,(bad eft/vvt harnes) so I spent a ton of $$ just driving around the area to put miles on.. . Don't want penalized for it

Talk to the buy back dept first, if they don't make you a fair offer you are well within your rights to contact a lemon law lawyer. By law the legal fees are covered by the lemon law claim, meaning the lawyer works for you for "free". Jeep knows this. Jeep doesn't want to pay legal fees in addition to buying the car back. If you are really low mileage you are much less likely for them to try to fuck with you.

There are a few videos about this from Steve Lehto. He's a Lemon Law Layer in Michigan. They should be able to help you understand what to expect. Also, if you can, always get a lawyer.

Stellantis offered to buy back my 22 JTRD (1300 miles), all out of pocket costs spent to aquire it returned nothing more... that SUCKS

ya I get back what I put in, but ordered it in Nov 21, so was before the price went up, now to replace I will have to order a 23, another price increase... it will COST ME almost 7k to replace what I already have.... that is beyond messed up
Stellantis isn't interested in making me whole again or keeping me as a customer

It's like anything else - if you buy something then take it back in 2 weeks for a refund - you don't get the new higher price. You get what you paid for it. It's how it works. It's not Jeep, it's not Ford, it's not Chevy, it's how it works.
No one is going to give you more than you paid for it. It's a buy back.

In California, for example, if it's a lemon, they have to refund your money (minus miles, etc. etc.) or replace it.
From CA government -
If your vehicle is a lemon, the manufacturer must promptly repurchase or replace it. You have the right to choose a refund instead of a replacement.

Even the law says "refund the purchase price" - not give you a check for the current price. Good luck with that from any company.

I didn't ask for more back, although telling me I had to put 3-6k on it in 2 months for the emissions to work so it would pass calif smog was asking a shitload of not only my time (has value) but at over 6.00 gal for fuel, there was another out of pocket (turned out to be a bad harness after all)

All I want is to be whole agian, by that I mean in an identicle vehicle with identicle payment.... I ordered it, i played by all the rules, did everything right, now I get the honor of giving jeep maybe 7k more to be where I was the day it was delivered to the dealer with my name on it....

I don't think that is much to ask, stellantis thinks an additional 7k isn't too much to ask so here we are...

Contact an attorney. CA law is clear. It is promptly replace or refund. Replace implies like for like. Attorney should be able to help get the price closer.
