The only way we have internet at home is with cell data. We currently go through the cell modem/router from the cell company. But we're on the edge of coverage and it keeps dropping off, then reconnecting, and doing that several times a day. I'm told these have weak antenna anyway, it's not uncommon.
While trying to find a solution, a way to make things work more reliably in our weak cell signal area, I ran into a fellow who used the D-Link DWP-902 setup - it's a cell modem/antenna you put up on the roof. It's POE so you only need a single cable going up to it. It can be used as a bridge or a router........ no one seems to know anything about it and details are near impossible to find other than the PDF file here.

Anyone know about THIS specific device?? (*The DWP-902)

or - how to get a DWR-961 to stay connected? (likely the only way is with replacement antenna)

Try this facebook group. They helped me get setup with a cradelpoint on the sprint plan I was on for over 4 years. People are on their building their own things even out of Raspberry Pis.
