Anyone know anything about the Tyger Tube Doors?

My Mother-in-Law kinda freaks out every time she rides in my Jeep with the doors off, and she offered to buy me a set of tube doors. (she actually fell out of a car when she was a kid... bad memories) The doors won't be used very often so I am looking for something CHEAP.

I found the Tyger Tube Doors and they look like they would fit the bill. I have had 2 Tyger tonneau covers and they have been great, but I can't find any info about the doors. They are just to reassure her and make her more comfortable... No off road protection or anything like that. Basically, just a cosmetic mod. And since she is paying, so I want the price to be as reasonable as possible.

For $379 for a set of 4, this looks like the best option.

I have been thinking about tube doors myself and wanted cheap ones… first I heard of them but they look pretty nice!! I’d consider them myself! I had been eyeing eag tube doors

I hand't seen those. I do like how they go all the way to the door sill though.

I’ve got a pair of EAG doors with the pockets. Had the, from my previous JT but haven’t put them on the new one yet. I modified these to put the pockets on the inside. No clue why they put them outside. Cheap, simple, just for a sense of piece of mind. Doubt they are safe in a highway accident situation.

Oh, and my EAGs came with mirrors. Don’t forget those.

I have the Hooke Rd and the Tyger saved in a list on Amazon.
My biggest knock on the Tyger ones is that the hinge pin is welded on (non adjustable) as opposed to bolted on (adjustable). If QC isn’t right, then you could end up with a seriously misaligned door.
That being said, the Tyger ones do have a $20 coupon right now through the seller Max Mate.
The Hooke Rd ones have a 5% off offer through seller V8 God.

See, that's where experience comes into play... I would have never thought about alignment being off. BUT... for the price (especially with $20 off) and the amount I'll actually use them, it looks like I'll be ordering the Tyger this week.
