Anyone remove the center console interior pieces? Before I attempt it and break something.

I want to mount a mic clip/hanger to the front part of the center console above the ebrake but I’d like to put some washers behind the plastic to give it strength. Has anyone removed the interior pieces of the console? I wonder if it’s as easy as just pulling those screws that go around the top edge?

I have removed mine. I did it to install a B&M shifter. Watch this video, they do the console removal. You'll have no prob.

Thanks for the vid but I’m looking for info on how to take the en side panels of the underarm storage off/out.
