I've had my Rubi for a couple of weeks and love it so far. One thing really bugs me though the damn rearview Mirror is too low! I'm only six foot and I'm riding with the seat all the way down and the mirror still blocks my view significantly. I see a lot of people say flip the mirror and I assume that is for the non auto dimming version, cause there's no flipping this one.

Anyone find a shorter stem that maintains functionality? Anyone delete theirs and find an alternative?

I'm installing a SmartCap EVO soon so not sure what my visibility will be anyway. I'm contemplating deleting altogether and just turning on the rearview camera when I get to wondering what's back there...

Appreciate any help I can get. Google searches have been fruitless!

Auto dimming mirror is flippable - just a little more involved. Disconnect the wiring, twist off the stem, pop the mirror off the stem. Grind off the alignment nib on the mirror and reinstall upside down.

I'm not sure how this will help, the stem mounts to the center of the mirror, flipping it will not move it any higher out of my field of view. Am I missing something?
