Has anybody gotten/replaced their oil soaked/broken locker sensors with the AutoTechnica versions (RockAuto)?

Do they appear to be potted??
If not, can they be using the same method that's been widely posted?

Great Question Mystic...

I can confirm that they ARE indeed potted - unlike the OEM Mopar ones.

They come in a set of 5 just like the OEM ones also. I tested all 5 on my JT with the locker light blinking - Interestingly, 4 of the 5 worked! (turned off the light) - Only #4 didn't turn the light off.
So that's the one I tore into...

The top caps on these units are not translucent like the OEM ones are (which allow you to see the oil intrusion).

Prying the top of reveals a nice layer of black epoxy! It's sealed so well, I'm not sure why there is even a cap on it.

Further disassembly shows the circuit board fully encased...

My conclusion is that these units are better than the OEM units, and at ~$80 from RockAuto, this is a much better solution than the Zlocker bypass cable, as you get back the original OEM functionality for a cheaper price AND you get the added benefit of having to change the diff fluid!!
