AUX Buttons with base 5.0 Uconnect

I wanted to know how the AUX buttons would work with the base 5.0" connect system. I know with the 7 and 8.4 you can select whether the power is drawn from the battery or ignition so when you turn off the jeep, the accessories connected to the buttons will either stay on or power off.

What happens to the base 5.0" system when you cant select these options. Will the accessories power off once you shut off the Jeep(connected to ignition), or will they stay on (being drawn from the battery)?
